Carlos Sarduy is widely regarded as one of the foremost Latin jazz trumpet players of his generation. An internationally recognised soloist, clinician, and multi Grammy Award-winning musician, he has collaborated with leading artists and ensembles including Irakere, Chucho Valdés, Interactivo de Cuba and Roberto Carcassés, Paquito d’Rivera, and Arturo Sandoval, among many others.
Cocina Latina is a Latin jazz ensemble based in Luxembourg and is led by Juan Carlos Gonzalez, former pianist with the world renowned Charanga Habanera from Cuba.
For this project at Pianos Kelly, Cocina Latina is excited to collaborate with Carlos Sarduy for an evening of jazz and Latin standards accompanied by wine in order to raise funds for the Fondation EME.
