Key Conversations: Bach & Chopin
This program not only offers a garland of masterpieces but also displays the constant dialogue that Chopin, composing his Etudes, had with Bach: thematic elements, rhythmic patterns, and musical gestures from the Preludes and Fugues of The Well-Tempered Clavier are systematically taken up by Chopin and transfigured by his sensitivity.
In this interplay of references between the works of two of the greatest musical geniuses ever to have existed, our spirit is invited to travel through sublime musical landscapes that, by mutually illuminating each other, offer us new and unexpected glimpses.

EXHIBITION:
LIUDMYLA PANTIELIEEVA
In addition to our concert, we have the pleasure of exhibiting the works of the artist Liudmyla Pantielieeva.
" On this poor, indigent ground
I shall sow flowers of flowing colors;
I shall sow flowers even amidst the frost,
And water them with my bitter tears.
And from those burning tears will melt
The frozen crust, so hard and strong,
Perhaps the flowers will bloom and
Bring about for me a joyous spring."
Liudmyla Pantielieieva and her teenage son left Ukraine after February 24, 2022, when the war broke out in Ukraine.
Most of the paintings presented at this exhibition were created in Luxembourg from 2022 to 2024.
These paintings are full of faith in the future despite the pain and longing for the Motherland.
These are mainly the flowers and landscapes of Ukraine and, of course, the first impressions of the fabulous architecture and nature of the wonderful country of Luxembourg, which cannot but inspire.
